Quarters to Semesters Course Conversion Guide Helps University Community and Beyond

A new online Course Conversion Guide (CCG) is being made available to translate the current quarter course offerings to the still-developing semester course catalog as an additional tool to aid in the move to semesters-based curricula. Users will be able to search the guide by subject, course number, title, and additional attributes (i.e., General Education, Honors). Carmen Final Grades Improvements

At the end of Winter 2011, the Carmen team deployed a major update to the process for transferring grades from Carmen to the Registrar’s Faculty Center.  Some minor adjustments were made in spring. New SIS Feature Helps Students and Advisors in the Semester Conversion Process

The Office of the CIO has recently partnered with the Semesters Advising sub-committee to develop an on-line tool to help students and Academic Advisors map future course schedules as Ohio State moves to a semester-based calendar. TAP, the Transitional Academic Plan, is a new feature within the Student Information System.
