Process Owners (PO) have overall responsibility for one or more ITSM processes. This position has accountability for the process architecture, implementation, operation and improvement of their process. All business unit operational process managers have a reporting relationship to the process owner. The Process Owners form the Process Owners Council and convene on a regular basis to discuss issues brought forth during individual Process Council Meetings.
The ITSM Process Councils (PC) provide cross organizational leadership and support for individual ITSM processes. The PCs assume ongoing responsibility for sustaining the development, management and improvement of individual ITSM processes. The PCs monitor the quality of each in-scope ITSM Process. Chaired by the Process owner and comprised of the process managers and key personnel of a particular process, the PCs are responsible for the coordination, effective and efficient operation and improvement of a particular process.
OCIO Process Council Meetings are open to all team members wanting to attend. If you have a process-related issue, complete the ITSM feedback form or attend an upcoming Process Council Meeting (meeting schedule is forthcoming and will be shown below).
