Project Evaluation
The purpose of the 2011-2012 pilot is to verify the performance of the Connect service with a large number of simultaneous connections. We will also develop a support model and generate best practices for use of a web conferencing platform in distance and hybrid courses at Ohio State. Finally, this pilot should lay the groundwork for successful partnership in support of web conferencing Ohio State.
Instructors, project leaders, and partners will be surveyed during and after their use of Adobe Connect. We will also invite feedback from students and other users. We may conduct focus groups with selected people. Posts in the participants’ blog will be analyzed for patterns and trends in support needs.
In Spring of 2012, selected members from the partnering organizations will evaluate all available data pertaining to user experience, support and training, capacity of the system, and the possible funding models. This will result a decision of whether to transition to a production service with Adobe Connect or select a different product for testing.
