This price would include camera operators, sound engineers, or other technical support staff.

Post-production and media processing

This price would include editing, graphics creation, and image manipulation.

$60.00 per hour per staff + materials cost

Author and master a video DVD from existing (non-video DVD) digital or analog media

$30.00 per hour + materials cost

Duplication

Making a direct copy of a video cassette onto another cassette of the same or different format (i.e. VHS to VHS, MiniDV to VHS, etc.)

$9.00 per hour per tape + materials cost

High-speed duplication of audio cassettes from a cassette master

¢50 per cassette + materials cost

Copying a CD-ROM or mastering a high-capacity CD-R with on-disc labeling

$1.50 per disc + materials cost

Copying a DVD-ROM or mastering a 4.7GB DVD-R with on-disc labeling

Online Media Services

 

Creating Media

This would include streaming a live event where a camera operator or other production staff are required

$44.00 per hour per staff member + materials cost

Capturing/Encoding Media

Capturing or processing existing media or files for streaming over the Internet

With a course number associated with the project

No charges for capturing the media + materials cost

Without a course number associated with the project

$9.00 per hour + materials cost

 Serving Media

Hosting streaming media files on a streaming server and providing a URL

No charges for OSU faculty and staff for academic purposes (Limits subject to Learning Technology policies)
