Videoconferencing
Classroom Services helps faculty and staff execute successful videoconferences for courses, collaboration, thesis defense, and other academic endeavors.
** Support of the videoconferencing service has transitioned to Classroom Services effective Feb. 4th, 2013. All requests for videoconferencing and bridge support are fulfilled by Classroom Services.

We recommend a two weeks notice prior to an event for proper evaluation and testing of required materials and resources.
Our supported rooms are equipped with H.323/IP standard-based videoconferencing hardware.
Skype, Google Talk, iChat, and other video chat/instant messaging applications use proprietary formats that are not compatible with the formats supported. We cannot support courses or events using these products. Please contact us to discuss alternatives.
