Administrative Systems Hours of Availability
OCIO staff perform maintenance on OSU administrative and other systems on a regular basis. Some systems have specific hours of availability, as listed below. Maintenance for these systems is performed around the posted buiness hours.
Some systems, such as Carmen or university e-mail, are available around the clock and require maintenance to be performed during a specific maintenance window of Sunday mornings, midnight to 3:00 a.m. If additional system down time is required, the schedule will be posted as soon as it is available in NewsLink or other resources associated with the specfic system. In the event of unexpected downtime or maintenance, updates will be posted to the OCIO Systems Status Page.
Financials System:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Human Resources Pages:
Note: The Human Resources and Student Information System (HR/SIS) is one system, but Student Information System pages have more availability than the core Human Resources pages.

Student Information System Pages:
Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 1:30 a.m.
Saturday: 6:30 a.m. - Midnight.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 1:30 a.m.
