A new online account management system is now available on UNITS Web site to provide customers with another avenue for ordering services and managing their personal accounts with UNITS.
The first phase of the online system was implemented in December. The initial account management options available to customers are:
- checking account balance information
- verifying last payment received
- viewing current long distance call detail
- viewing current and past billing statements
- changing billing address
Additionally, faculty, staff and students can use the new system to establish a new UNITS account and order personal services like long distance authorization codes and OSUWeb.net (Internet) service.
Other Web services, such as pay-by-Web, reporting repairs, and checking the status of open repair tickets are planned additions in the next few months. Similar online capabilities for administrative customers are also under development and will be added in the future.
