Past R2 projects include the reinforcement of concrete columns, documentation of new media and writing studies, improvement of cancer drugs by organic synthesis, the use of metamaterials to block cell phone signals, the effects of online gaming, and the socioeconomic and nutritional importance of grasshoppers in rural Oaxaca, Mexico.
