The Ohio State University is delivering an improved e-mail system and enhanced online communication and collaboration services for students. This new e-mail system is called Buckeye Mail.
On Monday, April 6 from 12:01AM - 3:00AM, the login page for OSU Webmail (webmail.osu.edu) will change to accommodate the different populations of central e-mail users on campus. There is no planned interruption of e-mail service during this time. The OSU Webmail login page (shown below) will include instructions and will direct:
- Students who are eligible to sign-up, to go to or sign-up for Buckeye Mail (see rollout schedule)
- Students whose sign-up window has not yet opened, to go to the traditional OSU Webmail site
- Faculty and staff to the traditional OSU Webmail site
Currently enrolled students are able to opt-in to the new Buckeye Mail system through a phased-in approach by alphabetical order of students’ last names. A rollout schedule is available at: http://8help.osu.edu/buckeyemailschedule.html
