The Digital Union has brought the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus to Ohio State's campus on April 22 and 23 and is partnering with Ohio State's Women in Technology group, Wexner Center for the Arts, and the University Area Enrichment Association (UAEA) to make its visit a community event. The Bus will be parked near the Wexner Center.
On Wednesday, April 22, Lennon Bus staff and Ohio State volunteers will coach students from the Weinland Park neighborhood Gidget program, an initiative to engage girls and young women in science and technology. In a single day, those students will write an original song, record and mix it, and produce a music video.
On Thursday, April 23, the Bus will be open for walk-through tours from 1 to 3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., the student video will premiere in the Wexner Center's Performance Space as part of a program about engaging students with technology.
