OCIO Enterprise Applications Director Leaving Ohio State

The Office of the Chief Information Officer’s Senior Director for Enterprise Applications, Andy Jackson, is leaving Ohio State on July 12 to join Allied Electronics in Ft. Worth, Texas, as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Chief Information Officer Kathy Starkoff said, "Jackson has the proven ability to be an outstanding CIO, and will be sorely missed by Ohio State. It is incredibly important for me to acknowledge the meaningful and long lasting contributions Andy has made for both the Office of the CIO and the university in the two years that he has been a part of this organization."

Jackson led the reorganization of the OCIO Enterprise Applications team and the implementation of the ERP prioritization processes. Additionally, he led the stabilization of the Student Information System service and the planning and launching of the Semesters project.

The Office of the CIO is initiating a search for a new senior director and in the interim, Dave Kieffer will lead the Enterprise Applications team. Kieffer can be reached at kieffer.2@osu.edu or 688-4272.
