A dozen Ohio State faculty members looking to revise their online courses to better engage students found a solution during a recent trip to Apple Inc.’s Chicago office. The two-day immersion boot camp, sponsored by the university’s Digital First initiative, enabled participants to create or add to an established iTunes U course.
Apple revamped iTunes U in January to help educators develop full online courses beyond videos and lectures. The Chicago office furnished seven support staff members to provide technical support for the first-ever endeavor between a university and the corporation.
This fall, OCIO will be sharing more about these exciting boot camp courses and you can always check them out by regularly visiting the OSU iTunes U site at itunes.osu.edu. -- > Read more: http:oncampus.osu.edu
