The University Email Service is migrating its email spam and malware protection service to a new Microsoft service, Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP). It is replacing Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE). This is a required migration from Microsoft as FOPE is being retired.
With this change, end users will see less junk mail in their inbox as it will be properly sorted into their junk mail folders. EOP includes enhanced anti-spam and anti-malware protection and greater flexibility in managing email policies that will enhance the ability to identify a larger amount of unwanted messages.

The change is being rolled out gradually and is scheduled to be fully completed by July 14. Please contact Brant Thomas at email@example.com for any additional information.
