Did you know that Ohio State offers all students, faculty and staff a free and easy way to share files and folders online? BuckeyeBox, available through a partnership with Box, allows users to have up to 50 GB of storage. Through cloud collaboration, users can add other BuckeyeBox users to folders and even assign tasks.
To sign up for a BuckeyeBox account, you need to visit my.osu.edu and log in. Click on “BuckeyeBox” from the left menu and accept the terms and conditions for use.
BuckeyeBox uses single sign-on, so you will use the same name.# and password login credentials that you use for other Ohio State services, making it simple for you.
Signing up for a BuckeyeBox account now will not only make it easier for others to add you to folders, but also ensures that you have correctly signed up for an Ohio State Enterprise account. Even if you are not ready to collaborate with others through BuckeyeBox yet, signing up now will save you time in the future.
If you are ever directed to create an account via Box.com, you will need to stop and go to my.osu.edu in order to properly sign up for an Enterprise BuckeyeBox account.
Those who have already signed up for a Box account on Box.com using their email@example.com email address will receive an email with instructions on how to have their account transferred to Ohio State’s Enterprise BuckeyeBox.
