We released BuckeyeBox campus-wide in the fall of 2013 and usage has steadily increased over the past two years. This year, we’re excited to announce that BuckeyeBox now has unlimited storage.
That’s right, now there is no limit to how much you can store in your BuckeyeBox. In addition, BuckeyeBox has increased the maximum file size from 5 GB to 15 GB. With these updates, you can use BuckeyeBox to collaborate on more projects than ever!
What is BuckeyeBox?
BuckeyeBox is Ohio State’s approved cloud collaboration tool. It is offered free to all students, faculty and staff through a partnership with Box. You can create files and folders, share them using a direct link, invite colleagues and classmates to collaborate and continue to revise and review your content. Your content is available in a single location, from anywhere, on any device.
BuckeyeBox integrates with existing Ohio State single sign-on authentication systems, which means no additional passwords to remember!
How do I sign up?
Signing up for BuckeyeBox is simple:
- Log in at my.osu.edu.
- Click "BuckeyeBox" from the left menu.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
If you are ever directed to create an account directly via Box.com, you will need to stop and go to my.osu.edu. This will ensure that you have an enterprise BuckeyeBox account, which gives you unlimited storage, larger file size and more features than a Box.com account.
If you have already signed up for a Box account on Box.com using your email@example.com email address, you will receive an email with instructions on how to have your account transferred to Ohio State’s enterprise BuckeyeBox.
