During a recent upgrade of Office 365, student Buckeyemail accounts included in email distribution groups were inadvertently removed. Any emails sent to distribution groups will not be delivered to those missing group members. Emails sent directly to students will be delivered.
Additionally, group owners are currently unable to manage distribution groups in Office 365. Attempting to add or remove individuals from groups results in an error.
We are currently working with Microsoft to correct this issue and anticipate the system will be restored within 7-10 days. We recommend directly emailing students rather than relying on distribution groups until this issue is resolved.
This DOES NOT affect listservs created at the university (email@example.com) or class distribution lists created within Carmen.
