The last six months have been a busy time for our University E-mail service. The OCIO e-mail team has collaborated with university IT advisory groups to identify and implement two exciting enhancements to University E-mail based on customer feedback.
The OCIO Impact Grant program is a great opportunity to collaborate with learning technology professionals to enhance an existing course through technology. The focus of the Impact Grant program is to increase student engagement, facilitate greater instructor efficiency, and enable anyplace/anytime learning through purposeful technology use in a course impacting students.
The Ohio State University today announced that it has joined with 16 top-tier institutions, including Brown, Florida, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Maryland, in the newest round of participants in the open online education venture Coursera. Participating universities are offering courses taught by their own professors in a wide range of disciplines, including computer science, medicine, the arts and humanities, and the sciences.
