Through the recently launched Student Information System (SIS) Project web site, students, faculty, and staff can keep abreast of progress being made by this new undertaking that’s overhauling the university’s 30-year-old student information system. The site lists and defines the six phases of this new project, as well as indicates accomplishments to date and work that’s currently in process.

To become more informed on the cybersecurity issues that can affect each one of us at Ohio State, plan to attend the second annual OSU Cybersecurity Day sponsored by the Office of the Chief Information Officer. The one-day event features national and local experts who will address current and classic problems that threaten the security of our computing activities and networks on campus.

Call for Proposals
Presentation proposals are now being accepted for OHECC 2005, "dot edu: The Changing Face of Technology in Higher Education," April 21-22, on the campus of Shawnee State University in Portsmouth. The current presentation proposal deadline is Feb. 11.
