The Ohio State University's cable TV customers now have access to commercial-free holiday music on channel 12.1 on both Philo Edu (IPTV) and basic digital cable. One or both of these cable services are standard in most university housing areas. Enjoy this programming at at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and administrative offices on channel 24.
In March some people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or observe Lent, but for many sports fans one event is paramount above all others – March Madness, a.k.a. the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. It’s not unheard of for people to take vacation time from work or skip classes to be sure they can see their favorite teams shine during the dramatic wrap up of the NCAA season.
Internet Protocol television (IPTV) is the next step forward in delivering television programming, and OCIO found the North Residential District Transformation project to be the perfect opportunity to try this innovative new technology on campus. An early pilot of the service got high marks from the students who tried it, so we’re very excited about moving forward in the new residence halls.
