When it became clear we needed to move away from moving BuckeyeBox, we chose OneDrive for Business in part because it has extensive sharing capabilities. However, sharing works differently than you are used to on Box, so it may take some time to get used to the new protocols.
How do I see shared files in OneDrive?
Whether you are transitioning out of BuckeyeBox and into OneDrive four weeks from now or four months from now – you can learn to use Microsoft applicaions and set up new projects and class materials in OneDrive or another program TODAY.
Training Open to All Buckeyes
Many users have taken advantage of “anonymous links” in BuckeyeBox for content that is suitable to be shared widely. Enabling this capability in OneDrive and Teams has been under security review, and we have determined we can manage the risk to enable users to continue using anonymous links when we copy your BuckeyeBox content into OneDrive.
Starting Monday, Dec. 28, you will be able to create anonymous sharing links (aka “anyone links” or “public links”) in OneDrive and Teams. Anonymous links enables anyone with the link to view a document.
