This is a quick reminder for HR Users about the biweekly payroll processing calendar in light of the upcoming holiday office closures and vacation schedules. Please consider sending a reminder to biweekly employees and supervisors in your unit if timesheet submissions and approvals is a concern over the university holidays.
Beginning Monday December 31, the e-mail reminder that is sent on Mondays to biweekly employees who have created a timesheet but not yet submitted it will be sent at 7:45 a.m. Previously, the reminder was sent at 9:00 a.m. The timing change is being made to avoid a spike in system use that regularly occurs on Mondays at 9:00 a.m.
The Office of the CIO (OCIO) will be performing maintenance affecting eRequest and eTravel. Both eRequest and eTravel will be unavailable from 11 p.m. ET on Saturday 11/17 until 5 a.m. ET on Sunday 11/18. Check the OCIO System Status page for changes or updates to this work.
Approvers for university eApplications (eTimesheet, eLeave, eRequest, eTravel, Business Leave, and HR Action Request) will see increased integration of their Worklists beginning 8/24. An “Other Worklist” section will be added to the bottom of all Worklists. This new section will include direct links to other eApplication Worklists, including the number of transactions waiting to be approved. Worklist links will only appear for those eApplications with unapproved transactions.
