Initiator GL Experience

Workshop Description:

The GL Experience provides an opportunity for hands-on learning. These three-hour sessions allow participants to create General (JRNL) and IDB journal entries within the training environment. New users will be able to:

  • View the Financials system pages
  • Complete entry fields
  • Use the look up feature
  • Identify the fields with default values
  • Become familiar with the navigational features
  • Practice, practice, practice

Prerequisites:

Note: The Initiator GL Experience and the Inquiry GL Experience are offered during the same session. If you choose to, you may enroll to complete both Experience sessions on the same day.

This course is required for all personnel who have, or are requesting, access for the GL Journal role (Initiator) in the Financials system.
