Purchasing Experience 1 and 2

Workshop Description:

There are two monthly sessions scheduled.  Each session is a three-hour lab environment.   Participants are required to take Purchasing Experience 1 and may sign up for the additional Purchasing Experience 2 as needed for further practice.   During the sessions participants create requisitions and purchase orders within the training environment. While attending the Purchasing Experience session, participants will have the opportunity to work on one to five packets:

  • eStores
  • Inquiry
  • Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Receipts

New users will be able to:

  • View the Financials system pages.
  • Complete entry fields.
  • Use the look up feature.
  • Identify the fields with default values.
  • Become familiar with the navigational features.
  • Practice, practice, practice.

Workshop Length:

3 hour monitored workshop in a computer lab for hands-on practice.

Audience:

This workshop is recommended for all personnel who have or are requesting, access for the Requisitioner role in the Financials system. It is required for all who are requesting access for the Delegated Buyer or the Receiver role in the Financials system.
