May 2012 User Statistics for University E-Mail Service

The following post contains the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) monthly summary of University E-Mail Service statistics. The University E-Mail Service uses Exchange 2010 and delivers an integrated messaging and calendaring service to faculty and staff.

Client Access Availability Report May 2012

This report shows the availability of the individual components involved with client access to the Exchange 2010 service. The SLA target is 99.9%. The total availability reflects the percentage that all of the components were available based on the 99.9% SLA.

Exchange Mail Flow Report May 2012

This report provides the total messages delivered to mailboxes currently on the Exchange system, as well as those routed through the system to faculty, staff and students that deliver (forward) their e-mail to another university or non-university service (i.e.,,, etc.).

University Gateway Anti-Spam Services May 2012

The University Gateway Anti-Spam Services filter all messages sent to accounts and only those that are not perceived as spam are delivered to users. The report shows how many total messages were sent to the domain, the number of messages that were classified as spam, and the number of messages that were delivered.
