Chief Data Officer James Brenza was recently published along with co-author Maureen Metcalf (CEO of Metcalf & Associates) in the Integral Leadership Review, an independent online journal. These two uncovered the key to successful “Big Data” projects in an organization: strong leadership.
According to Brenza and Metcalf, “leaders must take a more comprehensive view of the environment to ensure successful change. It’s no longer sufficient to manage change only from the systems view while ignoring the other three quadrants (culture, action, individual self).”
